GAS COOKER FOR ALZHEIMER'S SOCIETY |
| A replacement gas cooker, to the Furness Branch of the Alzheimer's Society at the Nelson Street Centre in Barrow was presented to them by the Provincial Grand Master, Bro. Peter Connolly and representatives of the local Mark Master Masons and Royal Ark Mariner Lodges. The cooker was gratefully received by Mr Roger Low, the Chairman of the Branch and Mrs Lesley Thompson the Branch Manager. The cooker will be put to good use during the day to day activities of the centre providing the catering needs of both drop in visitors and the careers. |
The above equipment was paid for from the charitable donations from the Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Lodges situated in Barrow and Ulverston. |
